custom RAC Marauder variant

The Kell Hounds who were in need of shoring up several key strongpoints throughout the ARDC went to their Mech Storage facilities. Several of the venerable and dependable Marauder series mechs were brought out of cold storage.

These older mechs still had their original Kell Hound colors and despite the visible wear and tear, the mechs exteriors were ignored. It was deemed more important that they were brought up to current weapons standards ASAP.

Since these refits would be stationed at hardened facilities with adequate supplies the decision was made to arm these older mechs with RAC technology.

Heavy firepower was considered paramount to stopping or holding an enemy at the strongpoint . In a unique and surprising move, Improved Landcaster Jump jets were installed to counterbalance the heavy weight of the dual RAC pods.
