Narwhale
The Narwhale was developed by Novelty Iron Works for the Irish Dragoons’ Special Air Group. It was decided to try to get the largest energy based weapon possible airborne. The heavy large laser was chosen for the major punch and four ER small lasers were added for ground close support.
Field testing proved the Narwhale particularly successful against ‘Mechs and vehicles. However, a side benefit of the configuration was an above average effectiveness against installations such as bunkers, minor fortifications, and bridges.
The Narwhale proved to be the most successful LAM design ever for the Novelty Iron Works until the Advent of the Nazgul Mk XIV.
