Light - Spider

A bit of a rush job to make the deadline, but I'm still happy to have another DA 'Mech my stable
----------
A ristar from Clan Sea Fox, Star Commander Remy has an exemplary record, especially in a Clan not known for its warriors. Although he lost his Goshawk defending a transport convoy, he has since adopted an Inner Sphere Spider as his own. With a frame engineered for mobility that not many Clan designs can match, Remy is frightening on the battlefield now that he's upgraded the weapons to Clan pulse technology.

This is a mixture of some really wonderful parts and some really attention-catching execution errors. The paint seems really thickly applied on the wings and gun, giving it an almost-stuccoed effect. However, the cockpit/canopy is truly breathtaking, and there's some nice edge highlighting on the leg. On the downside, the paint seems very thickly applied, and the lines aren't as clean as they need to be. I'll attribute the deviations as a product of haste. :)

I like how the blue turned out; it is pleasing to the eye. :)

A very solid paint scheme that has a lot of potential. If the paint had been applied more evenly this one would definitely been top notch.

I was very happy to see someone put one of the DA Spiders up for the contest. I think that the scheme is a good one, though some of the white looks a bit rough and the lines could use a touch of cleanup here and there. For a rush job, that's way better blending on the panels than I could have done.
