Heavy - Dragon

The Hilltoppers salvaged three Grand Dragons after their final battle on Ashio. Rather than split them up, their matched capabilities saw them assigned to the same lance, Crow Lance, under command of Corporal Dale Morrison.

Comparatively minor (and identical) modifications were made to all three. The two rear-mounted medium lasers were removed, along with two heat sinks. One laser was replaced with a forward-mounted ER small laser. The LRM-10 rack was upgraded with an Artemis IV Fire Control System, mounted in the head of the Grand Dragons. Two and a half tons of additional armor bolster the protection of the internal components of the 'Mechs. The trio performed commendably during the Arboris campaign. This particular Dragon, piloted by Levon Gazarian, destroyed a platoon of infantry and the APC that carried it. Colonel Holt was most pleased with his decision to keep the three together after this excellent performance.
