This is a solid start on the mech; a good solid base scheme on which to hang the details. IMHO, there should be a little bit of color contrasts in the joints/metallic bits; maybe a bronze, a black/silver mix, or something to set the gunmetal apart from the grey. Also, there should be something to catch the attention -- a hook -- which will draw the viewer into the mini. I understand that in the real world, you don't necessarily want that, but we're modellers. Some detail would have made this figure a little more lively.
I like the gray color, but I think that the panel lining is inconsistent, such as on the lower legs and the rear of the fins. I like that the cockpit is highlighted but not overdone.
