2nd Lt. Lucy Hernandez scanned her monitors carefully, as the sweat began to trickly down her back. This was the moment she had been working towards for the past eight years - her final Mechcommand exam from the NAIS.
She was the lance commander for a combined arms field exam, leading Mechwarrior Brown in his Urbanmech, and a pair of Behemoth Assault Tanks on a mission to clear out and secure a mock city center.
If all goes well . . . she'll soon be on her way to a real command in the NAIS Cadre.
