This is the soon to be demised Federated Commonwealth Seventh RCT Stealth being hit in the arm by a large pulse laser burst fired by Aris Sung's Wraith. The image comes from the cover of Threads of Ambition, Book One of The Capellan Solution by Loren Coleman. I used drybrushing to simulate the grey mech being illuminated by the laser beam hitting it. I made sure the arm was the brightest, adn thus hottest point as that is where the pulse laser hit. I mounted the figure on a clear plastic rod and used Q-tip fuzz for the jump jet exhausts. The snowy base was done using baking soda and done in two layers to simulate the snow melting under teh heat of laser fire and the Stealth's jump jets.
